ESG provides production support to all of DB Schenker’s UK  Business units and thus recognise the constant demand for cost effective engineering approaches  and continuous improvements.

Given ESG’s bogie and suspensions capabilities, we routinely assist one such unit ie Axiom Rail  in the provision of technical input in connection with their  TF25, AmIII and TF25SA bogies & suspension systems.

With around 5000 units in use in the UK, it represents an important product stream to Axiom Rail where quality and safety is of paramount concern.
ESG provides solutions to their various manufacturing problems such as:

• Alternative materials / suppliers / processes
• Use of materials that fall outside of current specification
• Scrutiny of test data & reports
• Introduction of new designs and components

ESG is also able to offer, cost reduction and mass reduction initiatives, that help reduce the cost of the final product as well as improving its performance and hence marketability to the end user.

ESG also provides maintenance and production support to Axiom at its Stoke facility.
